Who can enter?
California residents 14 and older may enter. Parental consent is required for entrants between the ages of 14 and 17. Employees of the California Department of Public Health are not eligible to enter.
When does the contest end?
The contest ended on October 16th, 2009. Submissions submitted after this deadline cannot be considered.
"The Flu Film Festival" contest instructions
Create a 0:15, 0:30 or 0:60 seconds PSA that will inform and motivate people to take steps that will help prevent the spread of H1N1 flu and/or seasonal flu.
The VIDEO must promote at least one of the following messages:
1. Wash your hands often, especially after you cough or sneeze.
2. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve.
3. Stay home if you are sick.
4. Get vaccinated.
Make your video fun, smart and entertaining. The PSA must close with a mention of the California Department of Public Health website: www.cdph.ca.gov.
