- 1. The video must promote at least one of the following messages:
- Wash your hands often, especially after you cough or sneeze.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Get vaccinated.
- 2. The video must be either 0:15, 0:30 or 0:60 seconds in length. Make your video fun,
smart and entertaining. The PSA must close with a mention of the California
Department of Public Health website: www.cdph.ca.gov. - 3. You may enter different versions (0:15, 0:30 and 0:60) of your PSA but you may
enter only one video of each length. - 4. If you choose to use music, you must use your own original music and lyrics only.
videos using copyrighted material will be automatically disqualified. - 5. The video must not contain any of the following:
- • material that is unlawful or violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not
limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes
copyright infringement or containing brand names or trademarks; - • material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, defamatory, slanderous or
libelous, or promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual
or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual
orientation or age.
